Production process of corn starch degradable tableware
Hengfeng is a professional cornstarch tableware manufacturer, providing high-quality cornstarch tableware and competitive prices. Welcome all friends to write to us and we will reply as soon as possible. Today, I will introduce the production process of corn starch tableware. If you have any objections, you are welcome to communicate.
First, clean up.
Corn raw materials contain a lot of dust mustard and impurities. In order to ensure the quality of the product, it is necessary to clean up the impurities in the corn. To remove the impurities in the corn raw materials, methods such as screening, winnowing, and gravity separation are usually used.
Second, soak.
Corn grains are very hard and need to be soaked before they can be broken. Corn can soften the grains and increase the toughness of the cortex and embryo through soaking; water penetrates into the endosperm through the embryo and cortex to dissolve and remove water-soluble substances; during the soaking process , Make the mud and sand adhered to the corn surface fall off, with the help of the different sedimentation speed of corn and impurities in the water, it can effectively separate various impurities and clean the corn.
Third, coarsely broken.
The purpose of coarse crushing is mainly to crush the soaked corn grains into more than ten small pieces to facilitate the separation of embryos. Most coarse crushing of corn is carried out in two stages using a disc crusher.
Fourth, the separation of embryos.
The current equipment used to separate embryos is mainly a separation tank. The separation tank is a U-shaped long tank made of wood or cast iron. The tank is equipped with a scraper, overflow and agitator.
Fifth, grinding.
In order to extract starch from the mixture of corn chips and part of the starch after the embryo is separated, it must be ground to destroy the cell tissues and free the starch granules. The quality of the grinding result will directly affect the extraction of starch.
Sixth, the separation of fibers.
Corn paste is obtained after grinding corn chips. In addition to a large amount of starch, corn paste also contains fiber and protein. If these substances are not removed, the quality of starch will be affected. Usually the fiber is separated first, and then the protein is separated.
Seventh, the separation of proteins.
The starch milk obtained by crushing corn and separating the fiber contains a lot of starch, protein, fat, etc. It is a mixed suspension of several substances. Although the particles of these substances are small, their specific gravity is different. Therefore, Separate the proteins by gravity sorting.
Eighth, cleaning.
After protein separation, starch milk generally contains some water-soluble impurities. In order to improve the purity of starch, it must be cleaned. The simplest cleaning method is to put the starch milk in the starch pool, add water to stir, let it stand for a few hours, wait for the starch to settle, put the clear liquid on it, and then Add water, stir, settle, put the supernatant away, repeat this two to three times.
Ninth, dehydration.
The water content of the starch after washing is quite high and it cannot be directly dried. It must be dehydrated. Generally, a centrifuge can be used for dehydration.
Tenth, dry.
The wet starch obtained after dehydration still has a relatively high moisture content. This wet starch can be used as a finished product. In order to facilitate transportation and storage, it is best to dry it to reduce the moisture to less than 12%.
Eleventh, finishing finished products.
The dried starch often has irregular particle size and must be processed into the finished starch before it can become the finished starch. The finishing of the finished product usually includes two processes: screening and crushing.
